1. Practice making patterns on a practice paper. Try lots of different designs.
2. Learn about Construction paper crayons. They are much softer than normal crayons. That will make them "pop" on top of construction paper, and almost look like they are glowing. Try them out, practice some of your patterns on a small piece of construction paper.
3. Draw a mitten on your big piece of construction paper by tracing your hand, that has your thumb sticking out.
4. Add patterns to your mittens and color it in. Remember you should use your best coloring... no worm holes.
5. Make a small snowflake, out of another white paper, to glue onto your mitten.
