All About Me Collage |
Assignment: Use Google Drawing to create a poster collage that is "All About Me"
When you have the power to create a piece of art, I want you to always think about this....
"The longer a person looks at your artwork, the better it is" This image is an "artist secret." Artists use this to put their main subjects on this line. They want the "looker" to have their eye captured in the bottom left corner to bring them into the picture. Then, they move the person's eye around the picture in a clockwise motion. This is something that isn't widely talked about. But, it's kinda an artist's trick. I want you to try to do this with your collage. Work at getting your things to "look" inward to the center of the picture. Find things that lead your eye throughout that entire "line", or "circle," in your collage. |

Learn from these videos and practice on your chrome book Google Drawing suite.
Make sure you customize your size of your poster. You will want 11 x 8.5 inches (so you can print it).
How to get your background:
How to insert photos:
The only thing that I want you to change from this video is to use "Transparent image png" when you search for images. I don't want you to have the border on each image. If you can at all help it, that is. I think the images overlap each other without having a background. This is achievable when you use the terms "Transparent image png" whenever finding something. So, if I was looking up a cat, I would put in the search bar, "transparent cat png", this should bring up images of cats with no background.

** When getting images, make sure you are getting PNG files... they will be transparent. JPEG files will have a white box around them.
When you are searching for an image within google drawing, you will want to write "transparent" and also make sure it says "png"
